How does temperature affect enzyme activity and why?

Answer:

The increase in temperature in a hot environment will cause the enzymes to denature (deform), the substrate will no longer be able to fit into the enzyme

However, in a cold environment the enzymes abd subtrate will be a lot more slower but they will still work.
