slope = 0 meaning the line is horizontal

m = (y₂ - y₁ )/(x₂ - x₁ )

with (x₁, y₁ ) = (3, 1 ) and (x₂, y₂ ) = (-2, 1)

m = [tex]\frac{1 - 1}{- 2 - 3}[/tex] = [tex]\frac{0}{- 5}[/tex] = 0
