If a triangle has a height of 12 inches and a base of 5 inches, what is its area

Area of a Triangle = base * height

Area = 12 inches * 5 inches

Area = 60 inches²

Area of a triangle is

A = 1/2 ×base × height
A = 1/2 × 5 × 12
A = 1/2 × 60
A = 30 square inches
